which manufacturer is better when purchasing a HDTV Sony Bravia, Panasonic or Philips?

I’m looking forward to purchasing a flat screen HDTV soon very soon, however some of these prices are outrageous. Has anyone purchased any of the above items which is a better choice.

Sony-Amazing picture, great brand “expensive”
Panasonic- (i have one) looks pretty great, sounds great, not to expensive.
Phillips- I honestly wouldnt really recomend, they make a ton of different things. places like panasonic major in pretty much only tvs, a few other things. sony- makes a ton of other stuff, but its all top-notch.

Panasonic. They are less expensive than Sony LCD and much better picture quality. Sony’s refresh rate tops out at 120 hz, Panasonic plasmas are 480 hz, plus they run about $300-$800 less expensive than Sony.

Sony and Sharp seem to be the best.
