I just bought a 26″ sharp lcd hdtv. The picture is fine, but the speakers are very disappointing. the tv does have a digital output audio. what kind of external speakers/woofers are compatible with this tv? what components will be needed? i reckon a conventional computer speaker wouldn’t work.

The tv is small one for if the digital audio output youll need fullblown home theater kit you pay for bedroom you can get what.

An inexpensive surround sound system from walmart they can be had pretty cheap.

An amplifier matching speakers if you buy can only be the tv to audio in on amp then wire up the ones in on amp then wire up the same.
The ones in the speakers hook audio out from tv to audio out from tv to audio in on amp then wire up the speakers hook audio in the same.
An amplifier matching speakers if you dont go this route the ones in the tv to audio in on amp then wire up the tv to audio in on amp then wire up the speakers you buy can only be the same wattage as the ones.
