I have a brand new Mac desktop and a brand new Sharp Aquos HDTV 1080. Is there a way that I can hook up my computer so that whatever is on it comes out on my TV. Like the TV is a monitor. It must be wireless though because my computer room is to far from my living room. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

I just bought a sharp hdtv digital tv for my bedroom . My bedroom has no cable and Im not planning on getting cable because that is just a extra bill. How can I get the tv to work since no more “rabbit ears” will be use? The converter box is for tvs that are not digital so what do i do? btw I have cable in my living room.

We just bought a new Sharp Aquos HDTV, and when we finally got the picture and audio to work, there were closed captions on the screen. When I click on the CC button, all I get is a little box on the upper right corner of the screen that says HDMI and the model number of my DVR box. We did use HDMI cables. If anyone has a clue how to shut off the closed captioning, I’d be very grateful.
When I press the cc button, all I see in the little box is HDMI, the make of my dvr and under that the word video:1080i. No matter how many times I press cc, that’s all I see. I finally changed the cc source code on my dvr box to make the closed captioning go away, but that can’t be right.

I just bought a 26″ sharp lcd hdtv. The picture is fine, but the speakers are very disappointing. the tv does have a digital output audio. what kind of external speakers/woofers are compatible with this tv? what components will be needed? i reckon a conventional computer speaker wouldn’t work.
