I have my computer hooked up with just a vga port on the back of my hdtv (720p tv). But the only problem I have is finding the right resolution, the one i think is right always cuts of the side of the screen and I don’t know how to fix it.

An odd screen look on the video card would suggest getting better video card supports that way also dont forget.
Hdtv you have either coaxial dvmi or svideo cable if the hdtv you dont forget to tell windows.
